Sirloin steaks are typically on the leaner side, but should not be overlooked.  They are an amazing budget friendly, tender and delicious steak option. 

Where it’s from: The Sirloin steak is from the Top Sirloin, while the Bottom Sirloin provides cuts like Tri-Tip and Sirloin Bavette, which are good for roasting or grilling.

What it’s used for: Standalone steak often served with veggies, potatoes and a salad. 

Cook: Hot and Fast. Sirloin is great grilled or pan-fried, served with just a little salt and pepper. Best cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F.
